This Privacy Policy explains what information clickd.lk collects when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have over your data.

1. Information we collect

Account data: the phone number you register with, plus any name or display name you choose during sign-up. Sign-up uses a one-time SMS code, no email or password is required.

Student profile: during onboarding you share your exam level (O/L or A/L), examination year, medium of study, school, district, and subject selection. You may also provide guardian contact details so a parent or guardian can confirm your account.

Usage data: your study sessions, answers to flashcards / quizzes / practice questions, bookmarks, progress, streaks, XP, and similar interactions. This data powers your personal progress dashboard and helps us improve the Service.

Technical data: device type, OS, IP address and basic log information needed to keep the Service secure and running.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service, authenticate you, personalise your study experience, send you OTP codes, notify guardians where required, protect the Service from abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

3. AI processing of your answers

When you submit written answers to practice questions the content may be processed by our third-party AI provider to produce feedback and marking. We do not attach your name or phone number to those requests.

4. Guardians and students under 18

For students under 18, a parent or guardian is asked to verify the account via an OTP sent to their contact. Guardian contact details are used solely for verification, account recovery, and critical account notifications.
